Join us for the free and community-driven celebration of the most awaited reception night for Douglas County Art Guild. The artwork local members create all year are finally displayed where the work was intended for throughout its creation. Whether the artists’ tribute to the Cultural Arts Center or the Cultural Arts Center’s tribute to the artists, let’s all come together and tribute the freedom to express through art in our own city of Douglasville, Georgia.
Join Douglasville Parks and Recreation for a day of health and fitness. We will
have exercise demos, health screenings, vendors and much more. The first 100
participants to check in will receive a free t-shirt. Lunch will also be provided.

Sweetwater Camera Club hosts a mini reception on August 6, 5-7 pm with their Summer Popsicle theme! Come choose a painting for your own collection or a gift for someone while supporting your local Cultural Arts Center. CAST (Community Alliance for Stage and Theater) will host a public reception at the CAC on August 13 from 5-7 pm. Proceeds support your local Arts events while you enjoy a Tea Party. Come support your local Arts Council and view the artwork, each painting $20 each.
The CAC Board of Directors hosts the ultimate “Fiesta de Arte” for the final mini reception of the 6×6 Tiny Fundraiser on August 20 from 5-7 pm. Come celebrate one of your last chances to choose a work of art from local artists before they are gone and support your Cultural Arts Council.
The Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County is hosting its annual fundraising gala, themed “Candyland” on November 21st from 6 – 10 pm. This year the event will take place at The Douglasville Conference Center. Come enjoy a tasteful dinner, a stylish cash bar, classy music for dancing, charming Silent & Live Auction.
